CANARY PRO DRY 8,6 mm Ambassador
With its 8.6 mm diameter and weighing just 51 g/m, the Canary Pro Dry is one of the thinnest and lightest single ropes on the market. The thicker 47% sheath proportion makes it the most robust lightweight rope in its class. New 3D Lap Coiling means that it is no longer necessary to unroll the rope before using it the first time.
The Canary Pro Dry is a single, half and twin rope all in one. It's the perfect choice for avid sport climbers looking for minimal weight and diameter, as well as mountain guides and traditional mountaineers looking for a rope suitable for all climbing disci-plines on rock and ice. Thanks to the Pro Dry treatment, it absorbs virtually no water (Water absorption < 2 %, UIAA Dry Standard). This makes the Canary Pro Dry the perfect choice for modern, lightweight alpinism: ultralight, triple certification and ex-tremely water-repellent. Naturally, the Canary Pro Dry is also produced according to the stringent bluesign® standard.
In addition, the new Canary Pro Dry is coiled using our new 3D Lap Coiling process. This means that it is no longer necessary to unroll a new rope before it is used for the first time. Together with the user-friendly packaging design, it is now easy to open up a new rope and start using it immediately, without any annoying twists and kinks. Simply open it up, tie in and get climbing.
